I am very interested in a R&D Scientist
position in physics or computer science/C++ developper position. I have a PhD in particle physics from the University of
Grenoble I, France. The aim of my thesis work was to show the feasibility of a
polarized positron source via the Bremsstrahlung of a polarized electron beam
for the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (JLab) and consisted
mainly in C++ simulations of elementary interactions between particles and
matter (Geant4).


I am currently doing a postdoc at the Hebrew
Univeristy of Jerusalem, where I work on a slow positron beam. I work with
simulations packages, C++ based and object oriented, such as Geant4 or COMSOL
to simulate particle transport in a beamline and test the beamline at a small
facility that we are building.
I am also building the beamline and deal with solenoids, power supplies, vacuum, cryogenics and detectors (MCP, HPGe...).



During my Ph.D., I worked with different
software and coding languages used in accelerator physics. I adapted existing
Geant4 codes to study the polarized positron production and transport through a
set of solenoids and dipoles and a way to measure the polarization of the
positron beam. It involved thinking about a target that would sustain the power
deposited by an electron beam to produce as many positrons as possible.



This led to the addition of an arm on the JLab
beamline where a positron production target, spectrometer and polarimeter were
able to characterize the positron production.
